Look at you go here all blogging and podcasting with readers and comments and all that. I seem to remember a day I was made fun of for blogging... Anyway, Gabe hasn't graduated from college quite yet. There's still more to the story yet to be told.

I had 5 or 6 dead hamsters in my freezer for almost 2 years - I would have prefered that something had eaten them, I think. I can't count the times I almost "accidentally" cooked them for supper.

Yup! Its a palm tree but dont let that fool you into thinking its warm here! The temp's been hovering around freezing for the last week or so. We dont get much snow here as we're right on the south coast in a kind of 'bowl' so the garden does mostly stay green - pyrocanthus and laurels and evergreens stop it looking too bare, whatever the weather. It never really gets particularly hot here either - top 70's would be about right for mid summer. Happy Christmas to you! s x

I have wondered about the nip experience as well. Are you going to get a mansierre, in the name of science? I'm going to have to e-mail Les to find out why she had five or six dead hamsters in her freezer for so long. Everyone knows freezer burn settles in after month six.
